Not every great dive has a shark in it. Most are made by the turtle that ignores you, the seahorse holding on to a sea fan, or the puffer fish watching from under a ledge. These prints are for that side of diving, on long-sleeve rash guards with built-in UV protection, hoodies for the boat, and leggings and bodysuits in reef prints.
New to rash guards? Read our guide on how to choose a scuba diving rash guard: fit, layering under a wetsuit and saltwater care.
Diving with sea turtles
There are seven species of sea turtle, and most of them are threatened. Divers meet them resting under ledges, grazing on seagrass and sponges, or swimming up for air. Give them room: never touch or chase a turtle, and never block its way to the surface, because it needs to breathe. In Greece, loggerhead turtles nest every summer on beaches such as Laganas Bay on Zakynthos.
Seahorses, puffer fish and the reef
Seahorses are a favourite find on slow dives, and it's the male that carries the eggs in a pouch and gives birth to the young. Puffer fish gulp water to blow themselves up when threatened. Coral reefs cover less than 1% of the ocean floor but are home to around a quarter of all marine species, which is why one reef dive can turn up so much life.
Sizes, fabric and delivery
Marine life rash guards come in sizes XS to 4XL, in a quick-dry 82% polyester / 18% spandex fabric with four-way stretch and flatlock seams. Everything is printed and sewn to order in 4–9 business days (2–7 for neck gaiters and bags), then shipped worldwide.
More ocean animals: sharks, manta rays and stingrays, whales, octopus, and the diver down flag.
