Whales are the animal most divers dream about and few get to see underwater, so these prints keep them close on dry land too. Wear a long-sleeve rash guard with built-in UV protection in the water, a hoodie on the boat, or go all in on the limited Dive Deep Whale print: rash guards, a zip-up hoodie, joggers, cargo pants, shorts and a UPF 50+ polo.

Swimming with whales
Most in-water whale encounters happen on snorkel, not scuba. In Tonga, for example, licensed boats take small groups in with humpback whales from about July to October, and scuba near the whales is not allowed. The etiquette is the same everywhere: slip in quietly, stay together as a group and let the whale decide how close to come.
Hearing whales on a dive
In whale season you often hear humpbacks long before you see one. Male humpbacks sing long, repeating songs that carry for kilometres underwater, and in Hawaii in the winter months divers often hear them through a whole dive. It's one of the few dive memories made almost entirely of sound.
Sizes, fabric and delivery
Whale rash guards come in sizes XS to 4XL, in a quick-dry 82% polyester / 18% spandex fabric with four-way stretch and flatlock seams. The pullover scuba hoodies are 95% recycled polyester with 5% spandex, the zip-up has a microfleece lining, and the Dive Deep Whale polo is rated UPF 50+. Everything is printed and sewn to order in 4–9 business days, then shipped worldwide.
